EcoTamp 100 stamp adapter

When using a tamp adapter the label is pre-dispensed from the dispensing edge of the labeling machine onto a vacuum suction plate which is itself mounted on a pneumatic lifting cylinder. The label is held on the vacuum suction plate until a product passes through the light beam and triggers the applicator. The label is pneumatically transferred to the product for very precise and repeatable labelling.. The tamp adapter is used where the labeling location is difficult to access. The tamp adapter can be used to apply labels in very narrow locations or if a label has to be applied in a large product recess. The shape of the vacuum plate can be adapted to suit the specific application environment. The EcoTamp 100 tamp adapter is designed so that only two components have to be changed to be able to attach another vacuum plate. The advantages of using a tamp adapter are: no contact with the product, the label can be rotated and applied in all positions irrespective of the product speed and the label can be applied while the system is either at rest or when it is in operation.
