In the convenience sector, the food industry is increasingly demanding attractive packs created in a very modern design, which can then be additionally marked with appropriate product and information labels.
For this purpose, EcoLine Etikettiertechnik AG has developed a semi-automatic labelling system that marks the product - in this application conical cups with a square base - simultaneously with a front and rear label. The EcoSeal 50-TK machine is designed on the basis of the EcoLine 100-S standard labelling machine. The label is transferred by the labelling machine onto a stamp applicator, which now performs the first labelling procedure. The conical cup with a square base is picked up in advance by a specially designed adapter in precise position. After the first labelling the cup is rotated by a motor through 180° and thus prepared for the following labelling procedure. At the same time the first label is rubbed onto the cup from below by air blasts on the left and right. The second label is now also rotated through 180° and rubbed on with air blasts. The fully labelled cup is removed manually by the operator.
The semi-automatic labelling systems of the EcoSeal 50 series are designed in such a way that they can be converted to label other products and label formats very easily, in just a few steps.
